Bill and Louise, known first as The Hy-Tones and then as The Hightowers, were well-known musicians who entertained audiences in exclusive nightclubs and supper clubs around the Midwest and in Naples, Florida.
Bill played rhythm guitar and Louise played the Hammond chord organ, and both sang. They were friends with and were frequently compared to Les Paul and Mary Ford. Bill also performed with Tex Ritter and Jimmy Dean.
